Which web template package should I buy?

All of our web packages contain design files that will help you get your site up and running. If you require only an attractive visual design for your site then our Silver package provides you with a professionally designed .PSD file to base your pages on. If you also require HTML and CSS then choose our Gold package. Gold PLUS+ packages contain all the files included with the Gold package plus the extras specified. All our HTML and CSS is hand-coded and tested across multiple browsers, making it consistent in appearance, lighter, faster to load and easier for search engines to list and thus for people to find.

What are the advantages of purchasing a TEMPLATIS template?

You get a professionally designed site for a fraction of current professional market costs.

Our templates are exclusive to this website. You won't find them for sale anywhere else.

What is included in my template order?

As soon as you place your order an email will be sent to your specified address to confirm that your order has been received. Following this a further email will include information on how to access your template files on our server (this may take up to 48 hours). The file(s) will be in .ZIP format. The Silver zips contain .PSD files; the Gold and Platinum zips contain .PSD, .HTML, .CSS, and where applicable .FLA, .SWF, .AS files. You will need a compression program such as Winzip (Win) or Stuffit (Mac) to unzip and access the files.

What software do I need to amend my TEMPLATIS HTML?

Any HTML editor will be sufficient. There are many available, many of which are free. Search the web for 'HTML Editor'.

What software do I need to amend my TEMPLATIS .FLA?

Adobe Flash is the industry standard for .FLA files (free trial available from the Adobe website).

What version of Flash do I need?

Our Flash files are saved as version 8 and can be opened by any version of Flash beyond and including that (including the latest trial version). If your version of Flash is older than this then TEMPLATIS will be able to save your files as earlier versions on request. This may delay your template delivery time.

What is a .PSD file?

A .PSD file is an Adobe Photoshop file and can be opened with Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Photoshop Elements. Most of the sites you view on the web are likely to have started life as a .PSD file, created by a designer and handed over to a developer to build using HTML. If you are unfamiliar with Photoshop then there are tutorials available on the web that will help you. Photoshop contains an option that will create the HTML for you which you might also choose to import into Dreamweaver, an HTML-editing program. Alternatively, we recommend our hand-coded pages in the form of our Gold packages which have been tested across multiple browsers and platforms.

What is the benefit of hand-coded HTML?

Hand-coded HTML requires expertise to create, compared with machine-generated code which is often bloated and error-prone. TEMPLATIS provides clean HTML and CSS code that will make your website load faster, lighter in size, easier on bandwidth, more accessible to a greater number of users and helpful for search engine indexing. All TEMPLATIS HTML and CSS has been tested on multiple browsers; this usually means IE6+, Firefox, Safari, Chrome.

Which banner should I get? (About template sizes)

Our banner templates are available in four web-advertising-industry standard sizes, as listed. The banner you require will depend upon the dimensions of the web page into which it will be inserted. Buy all four banner sizes together and save over 30% on selected individual banner templates.

Does TEMPLATIS offer a return policy?

The items on this site are classed as non-tangible irrevocable goods. Upon purchasing any item from this site you are agreeing that you understand that refunds will not be issued after the product is shipped. Please make sure that you have carefully checked the files available before purchasing a template. If you feel that the product you have purchased is not as described we will assess your claim on a case by case basis. The deadline for any returns claim is 7 days after date of delivery.
